We walk with outgoing pastors on behalf of the church leadership.
If your church leadership has decided to transition your pastor, the road ahead is often very complex and can have its challenges.
How does Pastoral Transitions work with church leadership to ensure a healthy change?
What does the roadmap look like?
Recognizing that every situation is unique, this is a general framework for how we engage with church leadership in the transition process.
Discovery Session
Meet with church leadership to understand the situation and give an overview of the transition process.
Engage Services
Prepare church leadership for communication with the outgoing pastor and congregation.
Situational Assessment
Meet with the outgoing pastor and identify areas of need vocationally, spiritually, mentally, and relationally.
Transition Planning
Implement the roadmap for the outgoing pastor and their family, preparing them for the next season.
How does Pastoral Transitions help outgoing pastors and their families?
We focus on three primary areas of engagement, each with a pool of resources designed to ease the challenges of a leadership transition and provide a path of comprehensive support.
We help church leadership model Godly character and the love of Christ in these transitions.
Our goal is to minister to the outgoing pastor and their families to heal, coach, and counsel them to recover and continue to serve God’s Kingdom as quickly as possible.
